CDL Class A and Class B Drivers - Now Hiring

Make a real difference for those in need as a CDL Class A Driver or a CDL B Driver in our Hillside or Egg Harbor Township Locations on our Operations team. The ideal candidate will travel throughout our New Jersey service area picking up food donations from retail stores and food distributors and/or making food deliveries to network partners and communities. You will drive safely and defensively, maintain equipment function, and observe all CFBNJ and DOT required safety policies, laws and practices.
As a vital team member in the fight against hunger, you will receive competitive pay, medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid life insurance, holiday pay, and paid vacation and sick time.
CDL Class A Driver: You will receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus upon successful completion of 6 months of employment.
CDL Class B Driver: You will receive a $750 sign-on bonus upon successful completion of 6 months of employment!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Physically touching freight to organize trailer of food throughout the day. Actively and consistently lifts 50
pounds of freight (typically boxes of food) at stops throughout day. This is not dock-to-dock sitting-only driving work
Maintaining records required for compliance with state and federal regulations
Keeping record of time, mileage, pallets shipped and received, any mechanical problems and general remarks
Essential skills and requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent preferred
Minimum of one (1) year of professional driving experience operating a CMV required
Current and valid CDL Driver&s;s License, DOT Medical Card required
Ability to perform for heavy labor work with customer service orientation, compassionate &a; professional demeanor, exceptional attention to detail
Forklift experience preferred
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work as part of a team and to achieve distribution goals of CFBNJ

- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
