A nonprofit organization in New Jersey is actively seeking a collaborative and self-motivated professional to join their staff as their new Financial Systems Analyst.
Responsibilities The Financial Systems Analyst will:
Support the month end financial reporting processAnalyze budget to actual performance results by Functional AreaSupport the design, build, and automation of the annual budget and planning process in conjunction with the Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis LeadSupport the design and creation of interactive dashboards/ ad hoc reports in Power BI, Microsoft Excel or like highlight current KPIs and other financial/operational metricsPartner with Functional leaders to leverage system tools to assist with data analysisFacilitate end-user training on core financial system toolsAssist with special projects and work assignments, as requiredQualificationsBachelor's degree in financial, accounting, or business administration3-5 years of experience in the financial sector in either nonprofit or for profitExperience in the development of Power BI dashboards and data-visualization toolsAdvanced Microsoft Excel technical proficiencies - Macros, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, ability to concatenate formulas to produce dynamic calculationsExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, v5.
1 or greater and Jet AnalyticsMaintaining accurate financial records and prepare clear and accurate reports for informational, auditing, and operational useDesired skillsPrior experience in report writing software, including database development, report creation, and system maintenance Dual IT educationAbout the Company:
