The Community Foodbank of New Jersey is looking for a Food Sourcing Coordinator to join our Food Sourcing team.
As a member of our Food Sourcing team, you will assist in identifying lapsed food donors and coordinating methods of activating these donors.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Using industry databases to identify target organizations.
Scheduling donor visits.
Developing effective approaches for recognizing donors with documents, certificates, etc.
Regularly traveling throughout an assigned geographical area in New Jersey to visit potential donors (primarily retail stores), to promote the mission of CFBNJ, and assist in identifying food donation opportunities.
Essential Skills and
Experience:
At least two years of experience providing customer service or working in a sales environment.
Proficiency in basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
Excel is necessary for data entry and tracking.
Background in coordinating across multiple teams is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills, solid organizational abilities, and a high degree of professionalism.
Ability to work well in a team and learn new concepts.
Comfortable with public speaking.
