We are looking for a lead batch plant operator to join its team and oversee the daily operations of the syrup production.
Position:
The lead batch plant operator is a safety sensitive position that oversees the daily operations and be responsible for formulating, preparing and mixing of appropriate ingredients required to produce finished syrup from calculation for bottling, canning, and premix/post-mix operations based upon number of cases and tanks scheduled for production each shift.
The position requires a demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities.
Actively leads the evolution of a robust Quality and Food Safety Culture by reinforcing the importance of Good Manufacturing Practices and protects the quality, food safety, integrity, and legality of our products and processes.
Job Responsibilities/Function:
Ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition.
Promote positive relations and interdepartmental communication and cooperation.
Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel through enforcement of safety policies and procedures, including inspections, periodic safety meetings, etc.
May occasionally work in place of employees out sick, on vacation, etc.
May be called upon to plan and adjust work assignments of personnel to cover all phases of production.
To follow up on implementation of company standards for products and processes during shift responsibilities.
Assist in staffing and training of production line crew Assist in scheduling of production personnel and temporary Ensure a safe operation, complying with the corporate accident prevention program, and following safe work practices.
May be called upon to assist with required safety meetings with shift employees Performance of other duties that are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures Requirements:
Excellent written and oral communication skills Able to Work in Team-Oriented Environment Attention to Detail, Quality Focus, Organization, Supply Management, Dependability, Customer Focus and Internal Communications.
Able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds repeatedly during the duration of your shift.
