Position SummaryBristol Myers Squibb is seeking a dynamic individual to join a motivated team of supply chain professionals.
This individual is expected to efficiently manage materials buying and planning activities for CAR-T program globally including, purchase order placement, maintenance of promise delivery time, execution of material resource planning systems, supplier forecast, interpreting and analyzing of demand and usage requirements for materials, establish reordering and safety stock quantities, analyze order fulfillment and inventory trends to support adequate levels of materials, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret material demand changes, place purchase orders, monitor PO and material life cycles, maintain supplier relationships, and execute materials and purchase order strategies to maintain target inventory levels to support Network cell therapy product manufacturing and development.
Develop and maintain replenishment strategy for selected set of materials, ensuring that production demands are continuously met through periods of high growth and expansion and warehouse capacities are taken into considerationEnsure network evaluation, allocation and transfers of the globally planned materials are executed according to aligned SLA's, strategies, and various set parameters across the sites.
Development and execution of supply forecast models/scenarios (internal and external) based on production demand that aligns with company objectives.
Management and monitoring of raw material supply /demand to ensure supply continuity and minimization of obsolescenceSupport material planning master data analysis.
Identify opportunities for process efficiencies, standardization, and alignments across the networkParticipate in standard work measurement for all internal material planning activities that improve personnel planning and resource utilization.
Mitigate any material shortages by demonstrating diligence in managing material commitments consistent with financial implications and reasonable business dynamics.
Timely escalation of the issues through a tier meeting structure and other escalation paths to ensure alignment on the mitigation strategyWork cohesively with cross-functional teams in support of operational efficiency, flexibility, and assurance of purchase order placement and material availability.
Collaborate in process improvements by maintaining open communication with all teams and fostering environment of cooperation in which to achieve shared goals.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree required.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with materials management and/or supply chain within cGMP operations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong knowledge of federal regulations for Quality Systems (21CFR820) and GMP manufacturing (21CFR 210,211).
Ability to work well in a team environment with a positive attitude that is willing to assist other areas of the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong focus and attention to detail.
Ability to perform frequent physical tasks with strength and mobility.
Daily tasks call for routine walking and standing and occasional lifting of heavy materials.
Demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks at one time with a strong attention to detail.
Flexible scheduling required.
Proven experience with rapid growth supply chain organization with high value/volume raw materials in a regulated environmentAny equivalency combination of education, experience, and training may substitute.
