Food Program Coordinator

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) is the state's largest food bank.
We provide food for 15 out of 21 New Jersey counties.

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is the primary, shelf-stable, nutritional government support program that helps those age 60 and over, who meet federal guidelines for low-income.
CSFP is intended to improve the health of seniors by providing nutritionally balanced food to an at-risk population that often do not consume a balanced diet.
The CSFP Coordinator will play a role in expanding and managing our CSFP partnerships in the Egg Harbor Township (EHT) area while actively engaging with the community ensuring compliance, and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identify, onboard, and foster partnerships for the CSFP program in our EHT location.
Ensure partner agencies are in good compliance standards aligned with NJDOH and CFBNJ requirements.
Maintain clear and effective communication with program partners and participants.
Provide monthly /reports to the NJDOH in accordance with program requirements.
Build and maintain strong connections within the local community to enhance program awareness and promote program services.
Manage and maintain inventory of CSFP food.
Ensure efficient distribution of CSFP boxes.

Assist with effective collaboration and communication among various departments across CFBNJ.
Assist with the management of training/workshops (promotion, registration, evaluation etc.
) Provides technical and program advice to partner agencies.
Performs site visits as needed to glean pertinent information from agencies to understand community needs and services.
Essential Skills and
Experience:
High School Diploma Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience Experience in community engagement, outreach, or related roles Ability to take initiative, work independently and solve problems.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people of varying cultures and interact effectively with staff, management, and other stakeholders.
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate traveling to appointments, off-site meetings, and agency site visits.
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license, registration, and insurance PIdca150c0bf73-29952-33218052Salary:
$22 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
