The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for testing, sampling and inspection within the Quality Department.
He or she will be a team player, quick learner and have attention to detail.
Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician:
Testing of food products and raw materials Following strict regulatory and safety guidelines Calibrate instruments and follow GMP's Assist with internal audits and keep a detailed lab notebook Communicate professionally with the quality team as well as others.
Inspect the facility for regulatory compliance Assist the team as needed with sanitation, inventory andhousekeeping Qualifications for the Quality Control Technician:
Experience performing quality testing in a food or beverage company o The ability to think and work independently, do basic math and communicate in a professional manner Knowledge of food regulations like SQF, FSMA or HACCP Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or GED highly preferred o Associate's or Technical degree in the sciences Job Type:
