Transportation Supervisor/Manager

We are looking for a personable transportation and/or warehouse professional with at least three years of supervision experience to join our passionate, life-changing organization that delivers and picks up food and grocery in order to assist New Jerseyans struggling with hunger.
Knowledge of warehouse transportation operations is required. Food retail/wholesale is strongly preferred
Supervisory experience, preferably in transportation, is required
Working knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet maintenance is strongly preferred
Observe all safety practices and evaluate workplace environments, to ensure compliance with work and food safety standards and regulations
Coordinates transportation schedules
Supervises drivers in all aspects of transportation and compliance with company policy and procedures, rules and regulations, DOT and OSHA. This may include, but is not limited to, conducting lift truck certification training and refresher training, ensuring that daily pallet jack equipment inspections are conducted
Reviews drivers' paperwork
Ensures compliance in regards to drivers' hours of service
Handles communication with drivers
Handles requests for petty cash disbursements and toll advances
Reports and coordinates repairs and schedules maintenance to the proper equipment vendors for all transportation department equipment
Maintains current vehicle list with DOT numbers, and vehicles registrations

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
