We are looking for a personable, flexible professional with at least three years in a senior-level administrative position to join our passionate, life-changing organization that assists New Jerseyans struggling with hunger.
Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; project management software experience preferred
Proficient spelling, proofreading and grammar skills; good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; great detail orientation
Schedules and organizes complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for the President and Board of Directors.
Performs desktop publishing. Creates and develops visual presentations for the President.
Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing system for the President. Retrieves information from files when needed. Establishes, develops, maintains and updates library of noteworthy publications and magazines.
Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and calls.
Sorts and distributes mail. Opens mail for the President. Drafts written responses or replies by phone or email when necessary. Responds to regularly occurring requests for information.
Answers phone for President and takes messages or fields/answers all routine and non-routine questions; handles necessary communications internally and externally.
Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff such as vice presidents and directors. Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary.
Manages the President's daily schedule and calendar. Apprises same of next day agenda and activities.
Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
Acts as project manager for special projects, at the request of the President, which may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations; organizing and coordinating strategic planning documents and follow-up; disseminating information; coordinating direct mailings; creating brochures.
Types and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
Conducts finance department responsibilities including: submitting travel and expense reimbursements; documenting corporate credit card expenses.
Reviews publications and emails for priority handling and/or interest of President and CEO.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
