we are currently seeking to hire a Marketing Manager, for our Hillside, NJ Foodservice headquarters.


As key member of the AAK USA Foodservice Go-To-Market/Commercial team, the Marketing Manager will lead the development of marketing strategy, new product and service offerings, and marketing communication initiatives. The Marketing Manager will plan and direct AAK USA Foodservice? marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives to maximize market penetration, opportunities and profits. In addition, as part of the commercial leadership team, the Marketing Manager will have a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of our current business and into additional geographies. The position requires strong general operating business knowledge and the ability to consider and advise on a multitude of issues from a functional perspective. A high Emotional Intelligence (EQ), a compelling leadership style that fosters employee engagement and impeccable ethics are critical to success.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


? ?Directs and oversees marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives


? ?Identifies market size and penetration by product line. Report monthly and quarterly on product line performance and identifies areas of opportunities


? ?Identifies and evaluates changes in the marketing environment and recommends response to be executed in a timely manner


? ?Investigates and identifies competitors and their strategies. Tracks competitive initiatives, pricing and tactical initiatives


? ?Researches new product opportunities locally and globally, develops action plans and executes new product introduction in partnership with the Customer Innovation Manager and the sales team


? ?Researches and develops pricing policies along with the finance team to help improve profitability and drive sales.


? ?Works with sales and customer innovation to implement strategic marketing plans, supported with market research for specific product categories, market segments and geographic areas


? ?Reviews changes to the marketplace and industry and adjusts marketing plans accordingly and in a timely manner ?


? ?Lead the development of the Foodservice one to five-year marketing plan, and in alignment with the Global Foodservice group


? ?Contribute to the overall five-year strategy and develop an annual operating plan


? ?Leads the strategies for innovation, new product development and customer solutions in the North America region.

QUALIFICATIONS:


? ?BA/BS degree; Master?s degree or MBA preferred


? ?Minimum 5-years? experience in marketing, business or equivalent field with 3-years? experience in the Food Service Industry.


? ?Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Understanding of Foodservice practices preferred


? ?Excellent analytical, problem solving and relationship building (internal and external) skills


? ?Demonstrated strong communication skills


? ?Demonstrated ability to manage effectively external suppliers and partnership relationships


? ?Highly effective team building, organization and planning skills


? ?Strong understanding on the use of ERP systems, costing systems and other IT related tools


? ?Candidates must be authorized to work in the US, now and in the future, without sponsorship.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
